Sculpture
In addition to figurative sculpture, Jim Keeling creates individual designs which make ideal focal points in the home or garden.
He uses a variety of finishes, including gold.
His most recent creation – The Golden Cypress – is a complex ceramic sculpture, constructed and sculpted by hand without the use of any moulds. It is oil gilded with 23.5ct gold leaf and measures 3.1m high x 1m wide.
The Golden Cypress is inspired by the drawings and paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, in particular “A Starry Night”.
